Common Questions

Frequently asked

How far do you travel?

We travel up to 25 miles from our Nashville office, covering Antioch, Brentwood, Franklin, Smyrna, Murfreesboro, Mt. Juliet, Hendersonville, Hermitage, Madison, and the rest of the metro Nashville area. Outside the 25-mile radius? Call us β€” we still come to you with a small additional travel fee.

What is required for a notarization?

You need a current, government-issued photo ID β€” Tennessee driver's license, state ID, passport, or military ID. The signer must be physically present, able to communicate, and signing willingly. Documents must be complete (no blank fields) before the notary applies the seal.

Do I need to print the documents myself?

Either works. You can print them in advance, or we can print them for you. For loan signing packages with edocs, printing is rolled into the package quote. Just let us know when you book.

How much does a mobile notary cost in Tennessee?

Notarial fees are set by Tennessee statute. Travel fees are separate and depend on your location and timing. Loan signing packages are flat-rate. Call (931) 302-5796 or email info@monarchmobilenotary.net for an exact quote β€” usually under 2 minutes.

Do you come to hospitals and bedside?

Yes. We perform bedside signings at Vanderbilt, Saint Thomas, TriStar Centennial, HCA, nursing homes, hospice, and rehab facilities throughout the Nashville area.

Can you notarize a Power of Attorney or Living Will?

Yes. We notarize Powers of Attorney, advance healthcare directives, living wills, HIPAA releases, and similar estate-planning documents. We do not give legal advice β€” please have your documents prepared by a Tennessee attorney first.

Do you officiate weddings?

Yes. Tennessee notaries are authorized to solemnize civil marriages. We perform simple civil ceremonies at your home, courthouse, park, or venue. Couples must obtain a Tennessee marriage license from the county clerk in advance.

Do you do Remote Online Notarization (RON)?

Yes. Tennessee authorized Remote Online Notarization under T.C.A. Β§ 8-23-101 (effective 2020). RON sessions are by appointment β€” you sign from anywhere with a webcam, valid ID, and good internet. Call to confirm RON availability for your document type.

Are you available evenings and weekends?

Yes β€” 7 days a week, 7am–10pm, with same-day appointments often available. After-hours emergency service is offered at an additional fee.

What forms of payment do you accept?

Cash, credit/debit card (tap-to-pay in person), Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and Apple Pay. Title companies are invoiced through standard signing-service workflows (SnapDocs, NotaryDash, Signing Order).

Do you provide legal advice?

No. As a notary public we are explicitly prohibited from giving legal advice, drafting legal documents, or telling you which document to sign. Our role is to verify identity and witness signatures. For legal advice, please consult a licensed Tennessee attorney.
